Building Cardiac Care Capacity Through Global Training Partnerships
The Global Heartcare Foundation is proud to celebrate the successful completion of advanced training by two cardiac surgeons and one critical care specialist from the Cardiac Center of Ethiopia at the Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences in India. The GHF-sponsored program, completed in June 2026, provided immersive clinical exposure and hands-on learning in cardiac surgery and critical care, helping strengthen the skills and expertise needed to care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease.
This achievement reflects the power of international collaboration in addressing the growing burden of heart disease in low- and middle-income countries. By investing in the education and professional development of healthcare providers, programs like this help build sustainable local capacity and improve access to high-quality cardiac care for future generations.
We congratulate these dedicated clinicians on completing their training and thank our partners at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences for their commitment to knowledge sharing and global health. We look forward to seeing the impact of their newly acquired skills as they continue to advance cardiac care in Ethiopia.
