  • On iPhone (iOS)

    1. Open Safari (or another browser).

    2. Go to the website with the EPUB.

    3. Tap the download link for the EPUB file.

    4. When the file starts downloading, look for a Download icon in the top toolbar (a downward arrow).

    5. Tap the Download icon to see the completed download.

    6. Tap the EPUB file in the Downloads list.

    7. Choose where to save or open it:

      • You can save it to Files (On My iPhone > Downloads or another folder)

      • Or skip saving and open it directly in an e-reader (next steps).

    On Android

    1. Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).

    2. Go to the site with the EPUB file.

    3. Tap the download link.

    4. The EPUB should download automatically to your device.

      • If a prompt appears, choose Save or Download.

    5. Once downloaded, swipe down from the top to open the notification shade.

    6. Tap the download notification to open the EPUB file.

  • If You Already Have an E-Reader Installed

    When you tap the EPUB file from your browser or notification, your phone may show an “Open in…” or “Share” menu.

    1. Tap Open in or Share.

    2. Select your e-reader app (see list below).

    3. The EPUB will open in that app.

    If You Saved the File to Your Phone First

    On iPhone

    1. Open the Files app.

    2. Go to the folder where the EPUB is saved (for example, Downloads).

    3. Tap the EPUB file.

    4. If it doesn’t open automatically, tap Share and pick an e-reader app.

    On Android

    1. Open your File Manager app.

    2. Navigate to Downloads (or the folder used).

    3. Tap the EPUB file.

    4. Choose the e-reader app you want to use.

  • For iPhone (iOS)

    • Apple Books

    For Android

    • Google Play Books

    Quick Tips

    • iPhone uses Files and Books: EPUBs often work best when saved to Files, then opened in Apple Books.

    • On Android: If tapping the file doesn’t open it in the reader you want, use Share and then select the reader app.

    • Cloud options: Some apps like Google Play Books let you upload the EPUB from your computer and sync it to your phone.
